Car park disruption:

We have been informed that essential maintenance will be carried out on the trees within the car park at Heavitree hospital.  As a result, some areas of the car park will be cordoned off; this will put extra pressure on an already busy car park.

When?

Starting Wednesday 24th October 2018 for a period of 5 days.

Action:

Aim to arrive at the hospital earlier than your appointment time as it may take you longer to park than usual.  Please call the reception team on 01392 405051 if you are experiencing difficulties.

Alternatively, if you are not due to have a procedure, you could consider using public transport or cycling.  Many buses stop on Heavitree road, next to Waitrose.  Please check Stagecoach website for further details.  Bike racks are provided just beyond the main entrance, beside the old Gladstones building; please bring a method to safely secure your bicycle.

The closest council run car park is the Triangle which is only a 10 minute walk away, but this is up hill so may not be suitable for all patients.  We are aware that some patients choose to use the car park at Waitrose when attending appointments at Fertility Exeter.  Please be aware that this is limited to 2 hours and is provided for Waitrose customers only.
